Why Pre-Production Is So Important
When you're idea for a project is developed, the next thing to start on is the pre-production process. The pre-production consists of all the steps of how to develop everything needed for shooting. The pre-production process is super important because of how it plans things out. If the team doesn't work on pre-production, the shooting process will fall apart. One thing mentioned in the article is the importance of a storyboard. The storyboard is a visual representation of the different shots in the film. Without the storyboard, no one will know what to shoot. Without this process, everyone on set will be lost.
